Great Gable Share Single ‘Another Day’, Announce New Tour Dates

Perth indie-rockers Great Gable have returned with their second single for the year, ‘Another Day’, produced by Matt Corby and Alex Henriksson at the pair’s Rainbow Valley Studios.

The new cut has all the hallmarks of the distinctive, sun-drenched sound the band have cultivated on 2020 debut LP Tracing Faces and single ‘Hazy’ earlier this year – warm, buzzy melodies, swaying rhythms and a backdrop of lush, layered textures.

“Another Day is about looking at things in hindsight and feeling restless when things don’t seem to be going on track,” explains guitarist Matt Preen. “It’s also about chasing gratification from others when you should really first appreciate yourself and what you’ve achieved.”

Great Gable have also added new dates to their previously-announced 2022 national tour. The band will play four WA shows as part of the run, with a hometown show at Perth’s Astor Theatre on Sunday, 17th April along with dates in Exmouth, Dampier and Broome in June. They’ve also added a second Sydney show for Sunday, 27th March at Manning Bar.

Listen to ‘Another Day’ – and see all the band’s Australian tour dates – below. Tickets for the WA shows go on sale from 10am AEDT this Friday, 3rd December, while tickets for shows in all other states are available now.
