An all-star band dubbed Trouble No More will celebrate the 50th anniversary of The Allman Brothers Band’s iconic 1972 album Eat A Peach with performances at The Beacon Theatre in New York City on March 25 and 26. Trouble No More features guitarists Brandon “Taz” Niederauer and Daniel Donato, sacred steel specialist Roosevelt Collier, bassist Dylan Niederauer, keyboardist Peter Levin, vocalist Lamar Williams Jr. as well as drummers Nikki Glaspie and Jack Ryan.
The concerts will be presented by The Allman Brothers Band with a portion of proceeds going towards The Big House Foundation. Eat A Peach was released by The Allman Brothers Band on February 12, 1972 featuring a mix of live and studio recordings. The double-LP includes such beloved songs as “Melissa,” “Ain’t Wastin’ Time No More,” “Blue Sky” and “Mountain Jam.” Co-founding guitarist Duane Allman died before Eat A Peach was issued but does appear on the album.
While tickets for the 25th have sold out, tickets for the 26th go on sale to the general public this Friday, January 21 at 10 a.m. ET via Ticketmaster. A presale using the code PEACH50 is currently underway.
