Robert Plant and Alison Krauss premiered the music video for “Searching For My Love.” The song appears on Raise The Roof, the duo’s first album since their Grammy-sweeping 2007 debut LP Raising Sand.
Raise The Roof arrived on November 19, 2021. Krauss and Plant are set for a world tour this summer around the record and recently performed “Searching For My Love” on CBS Mornings’ Saturday Sessions. Originally written and recorded by Bobby Moore & The Rhythm Aces in the mid-1960s, “Searching For My Love” became a favorite of the legendary Led Zeppelin vocalist when he was a teenager.
Plant described the song as “another nugget of beautiful lost soul music which has been ricocheting between me and Alison for a long time.” The new visual for “Searching For My Love” — starring Julia Lucey and Rolan Meyer and directed/produced by Matt Mahurin — marks Robert and Alison’s first official music video in 14 years.
