Marco Benevento will bring friends and fans alike to Arrowood Farms in Accord, NY for the inaugural Follow The Arrow. The one-day festival will feature performances from the keyboardist as well as The Slip, Antibalas, the return of Surprise Me Mr. Davis, and more on June 18th.
Also on tap for the debut Follow The Arrow are El Michels Affair (DJ set), Mikaela Davis & Southern Star, Karina Rykman, Jayla Kai, and Ratboy Jr. The Joe Russo’s Almost Dead pianist will deliver a number of special sets, including the Benevento Family Band featuring his wife and two daughters as well as a duo performance with Alecia Chakour dubbed 40 Love.
The gathering will also see the long-awaited return of Surprise Me Mr. Davis, with Marco playing alongside Marc Friedman and Brad and Andrew Barr (The Slip) along with Nathan Moore. The day-long musical event will conclude with a Marco Benevento & Friends set featuring Scott Metzger, Stuart Bogie, Cochemea Gastelum, Sam Evian, and Burnell Pines.

Every morning I wake up and think to myself how beautiful life is in the Catskills and what a cool community of folks I’m surrounded by,” Benevento said. “So to have the opportunity to throw a big party with some of my favorite bands and closest friends right in my own backyard is a dream come true. We’re so excited to get everyone over to Arrowood Farms on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon and celebrate the positive.”
Tickets for Marco Benevento’s inaugural Follow The Arrow are on sale now. A week prior to the event, Benevento will release a new solo album, Benevento, on June 10th. A product of the pandemic, the 11-track offering hears the pianist explore West African psych with percussive input from Mamadouba “Mimo” Camara and lyrics by San Diego poet Al Howard.
