Big Gigantic are joined by vocalist Brooke Williams on the new single “Losing My Mind.” The song appears on the duo’s upcoming studio album, Brighter Future 2.
Brighter Future 2, due out on June 10, marks the eighth studio album from the pairing of producer/saxophonist Dominic Lalli and drummer Jeremy Salken. The LP is heavy on collaborations including “Keep On Rising” with Aloe Blacc, “Open Your Mind” with GRiZ and “Just The Same” with Vic Mensa and Mick Jenkins.
Big Gigantic will support the second chapter of a series started with 2016’s Brighter Future by embarking on a summer tour. The trek begins this weekend with an appearance at the Summer Camp Music Festival in Chillicothe, Illinois.
“Losing My Mind” goes heavy on bombast and features gorgeous singing from Williams. “It seems happy and beautiful, but it’s lyrically rather sad,” Dominic Lalli explained in a press release. “It goes in a different direction than you might expect.”
