As Phish prepares to kick off an eight-show spring tour this weekend, LivePhish has released Live Bait Vol. 19. Per custom, the compilation features memorable live tracks from past performances in each market the band will visit this year on tour.

The 17-song collection, available to stream and download for free via LivePhish, was compiled by Phish archivist Kevin Shapiro from recordings captured by Paul Languedoc (tracks 1–6, 8–11, and 15–16), Garry Brown (tracks 12 and 17), and Jon Altschiller (tracks 7 and 14).

This year’s catch pulls predominantly from the “1.0” era with extended renditions of “You Enjoy Myself” (11/18/95 in Charleston, SC), “Ghost” (8/2/98 in Noblesville, IN), “David Bowie” (6/24/95 in Philadelphia, PA), “Split Open and Melt” (7/15/94 in Raleigh, NC), “Reba” (8/12/93 in Rochester Hills, MI), “Fluffhead” (7/24/99 in East Troy, WI), and more.

Live Bait Vol. 19 also features some notable highlights from recent years including the 23-minute “Birds of a Feather” from 6/19/19 at Blossom Music Center and the fiery “Blaze On” from 9/1/17 kicked off the band’s 2017 run at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. Other notable highlights include the funky “Wolfman’s Brother” -> “Undermind” segment from 10/30/10 in Atlantic City, a rare “Fikus” from 8/8/98 at Merriweather Post Pavilion, and the set-opening “Halley’s Comet” > “The Mango Song” > “Twist” segment from 6/30/00 in Hartford, CT.

Phish’s 2022 spring tour is due to kick off this weekend (5/27, 5/28, 5/29) at The Wharf Amphitheater in Orange Beach, AL. From there, Phish will head to Credit One Stadium in Charleston, SC for two nights (5/31, 6/1) and the venue formerly known as Deer Creek in Noblesville, IN for three nights (6/3, 6/4, 6/5).
