Spafford Drummer Nick Tkachyk Provides Rig Rundown

Spafford shared a “Rig Rundown” video. The clip sees drummer Nick Tkachyk going over the kit he uses live on stage.

Tkachyk starts by describing the drums. Nick plays candy apple red Tama Starclassic maple drums including a 22-inch bass drum, 12, 10 and eight-inch rack toms along with a 16-inch floor tom. Nick also reveals the interesting way he mixes the tom sizes on his rack, inspired by drummer Jojo Mayer, and details his double-snare attack as well as the drum heads he uses.

Additionally, Tkachyk gives a deep dive into his cymbal array as well as a summary of his microphone setup. Nick ends the video by dialing up his drum machine and also talks his use of ProMark drum sticks.
