New Orleans funk outfit Flow Tribe shared a music video for their new single “Keep Pushing” featuring NOLA legend Ivan Neville. Produced by VR360 Entertainment/Silverback Music, “Keep Pushing” is the title track to a new album Flow Tribe has in the works.
“Keep Pushing” — cut at Flow Tribe’s newly minted Downman Sounds Studio in New Orleans — grew out of the pandemic lockdown of 2020, “…the soulful and bombastic group penned lyrics that speak to celebrating life and resisting the urge to let darkness take over during trying times,” as per a press release for the new single.
“Keep Pushing” features Ivan Neville on keyboards and vocals alongside Flow Tribe frontman K.C. O’Rorke as well as backing vocals from Anjelika “Jelly” Joseph. The new Flow Tribe track also contains contributions from the band’s Bryan Santos and Mario Palmisano on guitar, drummer Scott Sibley and new bassist Darion Hodge.
For the “Keep Pushing” video, premiered by Relix, Flow Tribe tapped animator Andrew Knives. The visual also contains footage of Flow Tribe and Neville performing the song.
