Bruce Springsteen Joins Bleachers At Radio City Music Hall

40

Bleachers, the group led by New Jersey-native Jack Antonoff, brought out Bruce Springsteen during a performance on Tuesday night at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall. Springsteen was tasked with assisting on a rendition of “Chinatown.”

Antonoff recruited fellow Jersey-native Springsteen for the recording of “Chinatown” that appeared on the 2021 Bleachers album, Take the Sadness Out of Saturday Night. Tuesday’s setlist had seven songs from the album, alongside an equal amount off of 2017’s Gone Now and another few from 2014’s Strange Desire. Antonoff also led his bandmates through covers of Tom Waits’ “Jersey Girl” and The Waterboys’ “The Whole of the Moon.”
