Pearl Jam will make their Apollo Theater debut on Saturday, September 10. The invitation-only concert comes as part of SiriusXM and Pandora’s Small Stage Series and was originally scheduled for March 26, 2020 before the pandemic led to the show’s postponement.
The Apollo Theater concert comes during Pearl Jam’s upcoming North American Fall Tour 2022 and marks the first U.S. date of the run. Pearl Jam was slated to embark on the tour and play the Apollo to support the 2020 release of their latest studio album, Gigaton. The tour was split into spring and fall legs when the rescheduled dates were announced earlier this year.
“As we promised in 2020, and for the first time, we are thrilled to bring one of the greatest rock bands ever to the legendary Apollo Theater for a historic, once-in-a lifetime, performance exclusively for our SiriusXM subscribers,” said Scott Greenstein, SiriusXM’s President and Chief Content Officer in a press release. “Pearl Jam Radio has become a primary destination for fans and they won’t want to miss this.”
