TAUK Announces Fall Tour 2022 With Kanika Moore

47

TAUK and Doom Flamingo vocalist Kanika Moore will join forces for a string of tour dates this fall. The TAUK Moore Tour is a month-long run spanning October 20 through November 19.

Kanika has teamed with the instrumental quartet for a number of live performances in the past including festival plays at Electric Forest in 2018 and at Peach and Resonance in 2021 as well as shows held at the Blue Note in New York City last month. The collaborations went so well that TAUK brought Moore into the studio to write a song. One session turned into the musicians spending two weeks together. The TAUK Moore Tour will give the band and the vocalist the opportunity to display the fruits of their labor.

Cleveland’s Beachland Ballroom will host the tour opener on October 20. Shows in the Midwest cities of Chicago, Minneapolis, Lawrence (Kansas) and Lincoln (Nebraska) come next before TAUK pairs with Dopapod for Oogie Boogie Halloween celebrations in Denver on October 28 and 29. Moore will take part in the second night.

The TAUK Moore Tour resumes in Salt Lake City on November 2 and Boise on November 3. Kanika and the four-piece then head to the West Coast for shows in Portland, Seattle, Sacramento, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Santa Ana (California). Moore is out for the L.A concert. Additional dates follow in Phoenix, Tulsa, Fayetteville (Arkansas), Dallas and Austin. Tickets are on sale now.
