HAIM brought out Taylor Swiftfor a surprise collaboration last night at London’s O2 Arena. The guest joined the sibling band on their song “Gasoline,” which incorporated Swift’s song “Love Story.”
HAIM – the band formed by sisters Alana Haim, Este Haim and Danielle Haim – packed Thursday’s One More Haim Tour setlist with a total of 14 songs off 2021’s Women in Music, Pt. III, including “Gasoline.” One of the album tracks, “Man From the Magazine,” was performed solo by Danielle.
As Pitchfork notes, Swift was dressed in the same custom black leather pants designed Louis Vuitton that HAIM has donned throughout their current tour. “Love Story” first appeared on Swift’s second album, 2008’s Fearless. A new recording of the song, “Love Story (Taylor’s Version),” was released in early 2021.
