Ghost Light Announces New Album ‘The Healing’ & Shares Single

54

Ghost Light will release their sophomore studio album, The Healing, via Royal Potato Family on October 7. The band previewed the seven-track LP with new single “Take Some Time” and detailed a series of fall tour dates in support of The Healing.

The quintet consists of guitarist/vocalist Tom Hamilton, keyboardist Holly Bowling, guitarist/vocalist Raina Mullen, drummer Scotty Zwang and bassist Taylor Shell. Former Turkuaz bassist Taylor Shell joined Ghost Light this past March to replace Dan Africano.

The Healing follows the release of Ghost Light’s debut studio album, Best Kept Secrets in 2019. “The story is less the fallout as it is the recovery,” said Tom Hamilton in a press release heralding the new LP’s upcoming release. “Sticking with it. Staying the course in the face of adversity, uncomfortable conversations or situations. The path to health and healing is often not the path of least resistance but the path of perseverance and doing the work.”

“Take Some Time” arrives on the heels of fellow The Healing single “Don’t Say Goodnight Just Yet.” Both tracks feature lead vocals from Raina Mullen. Ghost Light tapped Christian Strevy to shoot and Joe Lee to edit the visual for “Take Some Time.”
