Funds raised from the concerts on August 8 and August 21 as well as a show with Dave Chapelle at Pine Creek Lodge on Sunday, August 14 that will not be webcast will go towards the Southwest Montana Flood Relief Fund, a partnership put together by the Greater Gallatin United Way and Park County Community Foundation in the wake of record breaking flooding in Southwest Montana on Monday, June 13.

The flooding of Montana’s Yellowstone River led to the damage of many homes and businesses as well as the closure of parts of Yellowstone National Park. While some entrances and park roads have reopened, the north and northeast park entrances remain closed to vehicles until further notice.

John Mayer has lived part-time in Montana’s Park County for over a decade. Mayer asked fans to text “Flood22” to 41444 to contribute to the Southwest Montana Flood Relief Fund to help those impacted by the flooding.

All proceeds from the livestreams will benefit the Park County Community Fund. The Monday, August 8 broadcast featuring Bobby Weir and John Mayer and Sunday, August 21 webcast featuring John Mayer solo each start at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. Head to nugs.net to purchase the Rise For The River livestreams. Bundles incorporating event t-shirts and posters are also available.
