Guitarist Julian Lage released a new single, “Tributary,” along with a live performance video. The song will appear on Lage’s upcoming album, View With A Room, featuring renowned guitarist Bill Frisell and set for release on September 16 via Blue Note Records.
Lage detailed View With A Room in June and shared the single, “Auditorium,” which also arrived with a live performance video. Lage similarly followed with “Word For Word” in July and now shares the new single “Tributary.”
“It’s a song I’ve been excited to share for some time because it features Bill Frisell’s masterful integration into the the band,” Lage said of “Tributary” in a social media post, “he creates an expansive orchestrational experience while retaining a sense of intimacy and wonder.”
