lespecial has announced Le Getaway Part 3, a two-day event set to take place at Club Getaway in Kent, CT on October 14th–15th with a lineup featuring TAUK, Club d’Elf featuring Rob Compa (Dopapod), late-night silent disco sets from Supersillyus and Honeycomb, and two sets from hosts lespecial.
Le Getaway Part 3 attendees will enjoy a full weekend of live music, camp activities, music workshops with all members of lespecial and special guests, dining, and more in the scenic Berkshire Mountains during peak fall foliage. The event is all-inclusive, with six communal meals included with every ticket (Friday night dinner, Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner, and Sunday breakfast and lunch). “Think Bill and Fleur’s wedding from Harry Potter, but before the Death Eaters showed up,” the festival website reads.
Additional entertainment offerings will include Bloody Mary bingo, crazy Olympics, a campfire and s’mores, zip lining, rock climbing, an aerial park, giant swings, a bungee trampoline, a pub hike, a ping pong tournament, a community soccer game, basketball, and more.
Campers will stay in rustic chic country cabins with luxurious accommodations including heat and air conditioning, private bathrooms, and daily housekeeping. The cabins have two, three, four, or six twin beds with plush memory foam mattresses, and attendees can choose their own cabin mates or opt for a shared cabin when purchasing tickets. Note that it is necessary to decide on a room type before booking. Friends who have booked different room types will not be able to room together.
The festival website also characterizes Le Getaway as an inclusive community event, “where all genders, races, sexual orientations, humans of all kinds are able to come together and escape the pressures of everyday life.”
