Vermont jam band Twiddle released Every Last Leaf, the group’s fifth full-length studio album, on Friday. Released via No Coincidence Records, Every Last Leaf was written throughout 2021 and recorded at Sugar Shack—guitarist/singer Mihali Savoulidis’s home studio. It is the band’s first album produced by Clint Bierman.
“It was a different process.” Mihali shared. “We’d never worked with a producer before. We tried it out with Clint, vibed with him, and went with it. It was a blast.”
The album includes previously released singles “The Devil” featuring John Popper of Blues Traveler, “Distance Makes The Heart” featuring Anders Beck of Greensky Bluegrass, “Beautiful”, and “River Drift”, as well as 11 other previously unreleased tracks.
“Every Last Leaf is a metaphor for life,” Mihali explained. “When a leaf falls to the ground, something will grow from it. Everything is part of this grand circle. In the music, we’re exploring all of life’s sides—from the sad and angry to the proud and happy.”
