Wolf Parade Performs For KEXP

Wolf Parade returned to KEXP studio to perform for the Seattle independent radio station’s Live On KEXP performance series. The Canadian rockers who have roots in British Columbia performed a “mélange” of songs from throughout their discography.

Wolf Parade — keyboardist Spencer Krug, guitarist Dan Boeckner and drummer Arlen Thompson — got their Live At KEXP session underway with “It’s A Curse” From their 2005 debut LP, Apologies to the Queen Mary. The trio then turned to material, “Julia Take Your Man Home,” from their latest studio album, 2020’s Thin Mind.

The rockers also offered “Fine Young Cannibals” from 2008’s At Mount Zoomer. Wolf Parade took it back to Apologies to the Queen Mary to close the session with “Grounds For Divorce” before chatting with host Cheryl Waters about the band’s long history with KEXP and more.
