WinterWonderGrass will celebrate ten years of music on the mountain when it returns to Steamboat Springs, CO March 3rd–5th, 2023. The flagship WWG festival will return to the Steamboat Ski Resort with top acts Greensky Bluegrass, The Infamous Stringdusters, Leftover Salmon, and more. The 10th-anniversary WinterWonderGrass will point back to its inception as Greensky Bluegrass and The Infamous Stringdusters headline just as they did in 2013 at Crazy Mountain Brewery.
In addition to bluegrass favorites like Kitchen Dwellers and The Lil’ Smokies, WinterWonderGrass will present a wide range of artists like indie-folk trio The Lone Bellow, rising alt-country star Paul Cauthen, vintage R&B pianist Neal Francis, and singer-songwriter Lindsay Lou. The festival rounds out its lineup with a stable of mountain music talent including Trout Steak Revival, Kyle Tuttle, John Mailander, Pickin’ On The Dead, AJ Lee & Blue Summit, Sicard Hollow, Pixie & The Partygrass Boys, and many more. Additionally, the festival will feature superjam sets from WinterWonderWomen and RiverWonderGrass All-Stars.
“The intention behind WinterWonderGrass and all our Bonfire Entertainment events is to deliver a mindful, clean and comforting fan experience,” founder Scotty Stoughton said. “First and foremost, we create this for the people, the communities, and our artists. We offer to host bands in town for multiple days in order to allow them to soak up the magic of Steamboat and give a little reprieve from road life. WWG is itself a community; our attendees share our passion for protecting the environment, tasty craft brew, authentic music, and collective kindness. WinterWonderGrass Colorado takes place outdoors at the base of the Steamboat Ski Resort, featuring an open-air outdoor main stage and three side stages located in heated and covered tents. The festival begins with a free show from Trout Steak Revival at the resort on Thursday, March 2nd.
