Scarcity seems to be the name of the game in the watch world these days, and the more exclusive the better. Zenith is dialing up that scarcity with the impressive Zenith Chronomaster Open Boutique, an exclusive edition available worldwide in select physical and online stores.
The sharp chronograph watch joins the Zenith Chronomaster Open Collection, which showcases the precision of the company’s El Primero 3604 movement in visually striking fashion.
Zenith has a penchant for revamping the classics in modern ways, including an earlier 2022 reissue of the 1969 Zenith Defy.
The automatic chronograph movement captures time down to 1/10th of a second and represents as sleek upgrade from the company’s Chronomaster Sport edition.
As if that wasn’t enough, the sleek and stylish watch boasts a striking, blue sunray dial.
The hits keep coming from there in terms of both looks and precision — note the contrasting chronograph dials and crisp white dial markings.
The Chronomaster Open design itself initially debuted in 2003, and Zenith called that launch an “instant hit” — one worthy of a new color scheme and a seriously cool design showcasing the El Primero movement.
As Zenith notes, the launch goes beyond just upgrading the color scheme, stylish though it might be.
“The new Chronomaster Open is imbued with the lines and attributes of the latest generation of the Chronomaster collection,” Zenith said.
The Chronomaster Open model has also been streamlined with more “modest proportions,” with a case diameter clocking in at an agreeable and more modern 39.5mm .
Suffice to say, the latest edition of the Zenith Chronomaster Open is covetable in every right, including an investment-level price tag of $10,000.
