Not So Silent Night: Kris Myers Details All-Star Slay Ride Benefit Concert in Nashville

Umphrey’s McGee drummer Kris Myers brings his annual guest-filled Kris Myers’ Slay Ride benefit concert back to Brooklyn Bowl Nashville on Sunday, December 18. Purchase tickets via TicketWeb.com with proceeds going towards David’s Den, a Nashville-based non-profit mental health resource for musicians and those in the creative community.

Myers has once again put together a stacked lineup for the annual event. Marcus King, Jeff Coffin (Dave Matthews Band), Rashawn Ross (Dave Matthews Band), Jennifer Hartswick (Trey Anastasio Band), Jerry Douglas, Ronnie McCoury, Rob McCoury and Taylor Hicks are among those joining the drummer in performing at Slay Ride on December 18.

Others on the Kris Myers’ Slay Ride 2022 lineup include Wes Bailey (Moon Taxi), Trevor Terndrup (Moon Taxi), Paul McDonald, Mark Lettieri (Snarky Puppy), Kevin Scott (Wednesday Night Titans), Ty Bailie, Petar Janjic (Cory Wong), Felix Pastorius, Bill Evans (Soulgrass) and Corey Frye (The Main Squeeze). Emmanuel Echem (Eric Church), Mike Seal (Jerry Douglas Band), Lindsay Lou & Kyle Tuttle, Bronwyn Keith-Hynes (Molly Tuttle), Eric Struthers (Neville Brothers), Daniel Kimbro, Emil Werstler (Verlorener), Sarah Gibson, Elliott Blaufuss (Gavin DeGraw) and Glen Caruba are also slated to take part in the event.

Leftover Salmon’s Vince Herman will serve as host. Special guests are expected. The house band features Kris Myers on drums, guitarist Mark Lettieri as well as Kevin Scott and Felix Pastorius on bass plus keyboardists Wes Bailey and Ty Bailie.
