The Motet detailed a pair of hometown concerts at Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom in Denver on January 20 and 21. The shows will celebrate the release of the Colorado funk outfit’s new album, All Day, as well as Cervantes 20th anniversary.

On Friday, January 20, The Motet will celebrate the release of their new instrumental LP, All Day, by performing “songs from the new album mixed in with classic Motet instrumentals,” the band wrote on social media. Special guests on Friday include horn players Gabe Mervine and Nate Miller along with percussionist Chauncey Yearwood (Pimps of Joytime). Recess will support.

Saturday, January 21, The Motet will help renowned Denver venue Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom celebrate 20 years “​​with a throwdown dance party for the ages, diving deep into our vault of classic funk covers,” the band added.
