Hiss Golden Messenger confirmed a series of solo dates for 2023. MC Taylor will leave the touring band at home as he embarks on West Coast run next March and Northeast-focused swing next April.
“These are intimate solo gigs—me and a bunch of guitars and songs,” wrote Taylor of the tour on Hiss Golden Messenger’s social pages. The trek starts in California with shows in Santa Barbara on March 1, Mill Valley on March 2, Mariposa on March 3 and Healdsburg on March 4. Next up are stops in Reno, Nevada on March 5 and Bend, Oregon on March 8. Taylor concludes the first leg in Washington, where he’ll play Tacoma on March 9, Walla Walla on March 10 and Spokane on March 11.
After a few weeks off, Hiss Golden Messenger returns to the road for a show in Harrisonburg, Virginia on April 3. Taylor then hits Wilmington, Delaware on April 5; Sellersville, Pennsylvania on April 6 and Westerly, Rhode Island on April 7. From there, the North Carolina-based musician brings the trek to Amherst, Massachusetts on April 8; Portsmouth, New Hampshire on April 12 and Burlington, Vermont on April 14. The tour ends in New York with shows in Saratoga Springs on April 15 and Buffalo on April 16.
