‘Twas the week before Christmas and all through the land, Cheese heads rejoiced with their favorite band. Spread some holiday cheer this year by sending the String Cheese Incident fans on your shopping list a virtual seasonal greeting.
In a video shared to the band’s YouTube channel, SCI played an informal “String Cheese Holiday Special.” Gathered ’round a virtual yule log while dressed in matching festive Freeborn blazers, Kyle Hollingsworth, Michael Kang, Keith Moseley, Jason Hann, and Michael Travis performed Hollingsworth’s 2021 holiday single, “Find The Joy”. “Billy“ Nershi was also present in the form a figurine placed atop Kyle’s keyboard.
Hollingsworth recorded “Find The Joy” back in 2020 and released the song last December along with a video in which he played every instrument himself.

“Hey folks, I’m excited to be releasing a new Holiday single ‘Find The Joy’,” Hollingsworth announced when he dropped the single. “Last year I made this video, so this season I decided to clean up the track and have our sound engineer, Dros, do some mixing magic! Hope you enjoy.”
A press release provided further details about the track: “‘Find The Joy’ was created one late night in the midst of Holidays of 2020, while cozy at home. It’s about finding what brings you joy and appreciating what you have, reminiscing special memories and creating new ones around the Holidays. Hopefully it brings you joy for years to come!”

The String Cheese Incident will ring in the new year with a three-night run at Denver’s Mission Ballroom with special guest appearances by Kanika Moore and Antwaun Stanley on December 29th and Judith Hill on the 30th. The band will then head to Jamaica in January for The Jamaica Incident, followed by a number of 2023 festival appearances including Gem & Jam Festival, Backwoods Festival, Hog Farm Hideaway, Northlands Music & Arts Festival, and Electric Forest.
