Welcome To Rockville returns to the Daytona International Speedway in 2023 with another high-octane lineup headed by ToolSlipknotPantera, and Avenged Sevenfold. The Danny Wimmer Presents festival is set for May 18th–21st in Daytona Beach, FL.

In addition to the headliners, the festival nabbed other top heavy acts including Deftones, Rob Zombie, Godsmack, Evanescence, Incubus, Queens of the Stone Age, Alice Cooper, The Mars Volta, Puscifer, I Prevail, Chevelle, Coheed & Cambria, and many more. Jose “Metal Ambassador” Mangin will host the event that will welcome 95 acts across four stages for four days.

“We are so excited to be bringing this fantastic lineup to Welcome To Rockville,” Danny Wimmer, founder of Danny Wimmer Presents, said. “Our fans have been wanting Pantera and along with one of Avenged Sevenfold’s first live shows in five years, crowd favorite Slipknot, AND one of the greatest rock bands of all time, Tool, we are delivering a jam-packed weekend to the ‘The World Center of Rock.’ Can’t wait to see everyone in May!”

Welcome To Rockville kicks off the festival season for Danny Wimmer Presents, the production company behind some of the United States’ largest music festivals. The company also produces other hard rock festivals Louder Than LifeBourbon & BeyondSonic Temple, and more. Last year, Welcome To Rockville brought over 150,000 fans to the Daytona International Speedway and will return in 2023 for its third lap around the world-famous track.

The lineup includes the only announced U.S. date from the reunited Pantera, which features guitarist Zakk Wylde and drummer Charlie Benante in place of late founding brothers “Dimebag” Darrell and Vinnie Paul Abbott. The band, which still features original members Philip Anselmo and Rex Brown, is currently playing festivals in South America. Earlier this week, Brown was kept offstage by what the 58-year-old bassist said is “a very mild strain of COVID.” Cattle Decapitation bassist Derek Engemann is currently filling in on bass.
