James Taylor, the John Mayer Trio, Mavis Staples and Sheryl Crow top the all-star lineup for Love Rocks NYC 2023. The benefit concert for God’s Love We Deliver returns to The Beacon Theatre in New York City on Thursday, March 9.
Other Love Rocks NYC 2023 performers include Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, St. Vincent, Rufus Wainwright, Jim James, Stephen Marley, Gary Clark Jr., Allison Russell, The War and Treaty and Bernie Williams with more to be announced. Over $25 million has been raised by the concerts for God’s Love We Deliver, a New York City-based not-for-profit organization that cooks and delivers nutritious, medically tailored meals directly to the homes of people too sick to shop or cook for themselves.
Once again, the event will be organized by executive producers John Varvatos, Greg Williamson and Nicole Rechter. Stephen Colbert, Andy Cohen, Chevy Chase and Phoebe Robinson are each slated to make appearances. Will Lee will continue a tradition by serving as the musical director and bassist for the seventh annual Love Rocks NYC’s house band. Lee will be joined by drummers Steve Gadd (Paul Simon, Eric Clapton) and Shawn Pelton (Saturday Night Live), guitarists Larry Campbell (Bob Dylan, Levon Helm) and Eric Krasno (Lettuce, Soulive), percussionist Pedrito Martinez (Sting, Camila Cabello) and keyboardist Michael Bearden (Lady Gaga).
Pre-sale tickets for the benefit go on sale this Thursday, January 26 at 10 a.m. ET. The general on-sale follows on Friday, January 27 at 10 a.m. ET. Buy Love Rocks NYC 2023 tickets via Ticketmaster.
