Panic! at the Disco “will be no more” following a tour of Europe and the UK that ends on March 10. Frontman Brendon Urie announced the news via a letter on Instagram. Urie also revealed he will soon be a dad.

Urie called the band’s 19-year run a “hell of a journey” and explained, “I never could’ve imagined where this life would take me. So many places all over the world, and all the friends we’ve made along the way.” Panic! At The Disco put out seven studio albums since forming in 2004 with the most recent 2022’s Viva Las Vengence. “I Write Sins Not Tragedies,” “Nine In The Afternoon” and “Time To Dance” are among the group’s best-known songs.

“The prospect of being a father and getting to watch my wife become a mother is both humbling and exciting,” Urie wrote about the child that he and his wife Sarah Orzechowski are expecting. “I look forward to this next adventure.

“That said, I am going to bring this chapter of my life to an end and put my focus and energy on my family, and with that Panic! At The Disco will be no more,” Urie continued. Read the full text of the note below:
