The Danny Wimmer Presents festival will stage its first gathering since 2019 and third overall with additional performances from Godsmack, Avenged Sevenfold, Deftones, Falling In Reverse, Chevelle, Puscifer, Beartooth, I Prevail, Jawbreaker, Sublime with Rome, Bullet For My Valentine, The Pretty Reckless, Pennywise, Trivium, Black Veil Brides, Anti-Flag, Yelawolf Presents: Sometimes Y, and many more.
“It’s great to be coming back to Columbus,” Danny Wimmer said. “Foo Fighters, Tool, Avenged Sevenfold, KISS plus 75 more, it’s our biggest lineup ever! There is so much history at Historic Crew Stadium, it truly is the heartbeat of rock for many of us…the excitement surrounding the return of Sonic Temple is unparalleled!”
This lineup revelation comes amidst of flurry of announcements for Foo Fighters, who at the end of 2022 confirmed they will continue to perform without drummer Taylor Hawkins. The group’s longtime drummer died last March at the age of 50 while the band was on tour in Colombia. Since then, Foo Fighters have been confirmed as headliners at Bonnaroo and Boston Calling.
