Van Morrison Shares Rollicking New Single ‘Worried Man Blues’

Van Morrison shared a new single, “Worried Man Blues.” The song is set for the legendary singer-songwriter’s forthcoming album, Moving On Skiffle, set for release on March 10.

Skiffle was all the rage in the 1950s at a formative time for many Irish and British rockers, combining elements of American musical styles including folk, bluegrass and blues. Hailing from Belfast, Northern Ireland, skiffle played a big role at the outset of Van Morrison’s musical journey.

Van announced his 23-track ode to the genre, Moving On Skiffle, in October 2022 and released the lead single, “Streamline Train.” Morrison now follows with “Worried Man Blues,” a song with traditional origins covered by renowned artists including The Carter Family, Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger and UK skiffle master Lonnie Donegan.
