Run The Jewels To Celebrate 10th Anniversary With 4-Night Residencies

43

Run The Jewels, the duo comprised of rapper Killer Mike and producer El-P, will commemorate a decade of recording and performing under the moniker with four-night residencies in four cities this fall. The pair will bring their 10th Anniversary Tour to New York City, Chicago, Atlanta and Los Angeles.

“It’s mind-blowing to us that it’s been 10 years since we joined forces as RTJ,” Killer Mike and El-P stated. “The best way we can think to celebrate is to get the whole family together and do what we love for the people who love us back. It’s going to be amazing, just like this entire ride has been, and we are grateful to get a chance to celebrate with our jewel runners this year and finally get back into clubs to destroy some stages for you.”

Run The Jewels have released four albums thus far and will devote each night of the residencies to complete performances of the LP. “We’re doing four cities, four nights each, and four full albums worth of jams, many we have only performed a small handful of times during our whole existence,” the pair explained. “So on night one it’s RTJ1 in full, plus many more songs from the other records; night two it’s RTJ2… etc. etc. We can’t wait to get out there and see you.”

The duo takes over New York City’s Terminal 5 September 13 – 16. Run The Jewels then plays The Salt Shed in Chicago from September 27 – 30 and Atlanta’s The Eastern October 2 – 5 before ending the celebratory tour at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles October 11 – 14.

Tickets for Run The Jewel’s 10th Anniversary Tour go on sale this Friday, March 31.
