Atypical Situation: Dave Matthews Announces Intimate Solo Acoustic Concert In New York City For SiriusXM

Dave Matthews Band frontman Dave Matthews will perform an intimate invitation-only concert exclusively for SiriusXM at New York City club Irving Plaza on Wednesday, June 7. The show dubbed Dave Matthews: Live & Acoustic will find Matthews mixing material from the recently released DMB album Walk Around The Moon and fan favorites.

Dave Matthews: Live & Acoustic will be broadcast live on Wednesday, June 7 at 8 p.m. ET on SiriusXM’s Dave Matthews Band Radio (ch. 30) as well as on the SXM App. SiriusXM subscribers can enter for a chance to win tickets to the cozy performance via the SXM App until Thursday, June 1. The 1,200-capacity Irving Plaza hosted Dave Matthews Band four times between April 21, 1993 and November 7, 1994. Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds played a Grammy-week show in January of 2018 at the venue for the Citi Sound Vault series.
