Following a mid-set rendition of “So Damn Lucky”, Matthews explained that he had found out that Zac Brown was planning to attend the show and asked him to bring his axe along to play one with the band. Affirming affirmed his longtime DMB fandom to the crowd, Brown proceeded to lead the band through a powerful “Watchtower”, faithfully recreating Matthews’ vision of the Dylan classic down to the ad-libs and inflections.
