Gorillaz will head out on a four-show, four-city run of U.S. stadium and amphitheater dates in the fall of 2023 billed as The Getaway Shows. The performances, which will feature special guests KAYTRANADA, Lil Yachty, and Remi Wolf, will serve as the final run of American concerts in support of Gorillaz’ 2022 album, Cracker Island.
The brainchild of musician Damon Albarn and visual artist Jamie Hewlett, Gorillaz have spent the last two decades becoming the world’s biggest “virtual” band, with their output presented as the work of characters 2-D, Murdoc Niccals, Noodle, and Russel Hobbs. The gang recently made headlines with show-stealing performances at Coachella 2023. Last year, the animated ensemble—and the 14-piece live band that brings its music to life—hit the road for a lengthy North American arena tour in support of the new album, often with the help of an array of high-profile guests.
The Gorillaz Getaway run will kick off on Sunday, September 10th at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, CA and continue on to Q2 Stadium in Austin, TX (Wednesday, September 13th) and Credit 1 Union Amphitheatre in Chicago, IL (Saturday, September 16th) before wrapping up on Tuesday, September 19th at Boston, MA’s historic Fenway Park.
Tickets for the four Gorillaz Getaway shows featuring KAYTRANADA, Lil Yachty, and Remi Wolf will be available starting with a Live Nation pre-sale beginning on Wednesday, May 31st at 10:00 a.m. local time. The general on-sale will begin on Friday, June 2nd at 10:00 a.m. local venue time via the Gorillaz website.

The tour will also offer a variety of different VIP packages and experiences for fans to take their concert experience to the next level. Packages may include premium tickets, invitation to the VIP Lounge, VIP exclusive gift item, limited edition city specific poster and more.
