STS9 is asking fans to help curate the setlist for their upcoming concert at the Paramount Theatre in Denver. The inaugural “Selector 9” show takes place on July 20 just ahead of their two-night Sound of the Light run at Red Rocks.
Tribe took to social media to announce Selector 9, noting that the process will begin later this week. Read an excerpt from the band’s Instagram post below:
“Selector 9 is a special new show concept where the community selects the songs and then fine-tunes the setlist to determine what is performed on 7/20! We want to know what tracks you want to hear, what versions of each track you prefer, and how you think the set and experience should be mapped out…
“Top 8 setlists selectors will be given a 2-day pass to our RRX event, and the selector that has their setlist chosen will win a pair of passes to all 3 nights in Colorado, plus a signed copy of their winning setlist.”
“The idea behind Selector 9 is to involve our incredible fan base in a way we’ve never done before,” STS9 keyboardist David Phipps said in a statement via Jambands.com. “We want to empower our fans and give them the opportunity to shape the musical journey of our performance in Denver. It’s a unique concept, and we can’t wait to see the creativity and passion that will go into crafting the ultimate setlist.”
