Mikaela Davis has added a run of August dates to her busy 2023 tour schedule, with stops around the West Coast, Southeast, Midwest, and Northeast. Her new LP, And Southern Star, is due out via Kill Rock Stars at the start of the tour on August 4th.
After making an appearance at Unlimited Devotion at Ardmore Music Hall alongside Jackie Greene, Steve Kimock, Peter Rowan, Aron Magner, and Marc Brownstein on June 2nd, Davis will take her band on the road later this month for run of shows in the Northeast with support from Blue Ranger, Louisa Stancioff, Dominic Lavoie, and Raina Mullen (Ghost Light) and a stop at Marco Benevento‘s Follow The Arrow festival.
Davis will then head to Oregon’s Pickathon to kick off the newly announced tour dates with sets on August 3rd and 4th. Her set on the 4th will coincide with the release of her new album, And Southern Star, which will feature recently released singles “Promise” and “Far From You”.
From Oregon, Davis shoot up to Seattle (8/5) before traveling back down the West Coast to California for shows in Redding (8/8) and Fresno (8/9). Shows in Arizona and New Mexico follow ahead of a Midwest jaunt with stops in Evanston, IL (8/20) and Cleveland, OH (8/22). The tour will wrap in New York with shows in Buffalo (8/23), Kingston (8/24), Ithaca (8/25).
Then, after making an appearance at Camp Deep End in Navarro, CA on September 16th, Davis will provide support for beloved indie band The Mountain Goats on their tour of the West.
Tickets for Mikaela Davis’ newly announced August tour dates will go on sale on Friday, June 2nd at 10 a.m. local time.
