The impressive rise of Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country continued over the weekend with the band’s appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert‘s Late Show Me Music series.
Just five months ago, Donato and his gang made their national television debut on CBS Saturday Morning, and on Friday, the band showcased its unique blend of country and psychedelic rock with a performance of “Lose Your Mind” from their acclaimed album Reflector as part of The Late Show‘s weekly music discovery series, which shines a spotlight on rising stars.

Between the two CBS appearances, Donato marked another milestone with his debut performance at the Grand Ole Opry in his longtime home of Nashville, TN. The young bandleader has come quite a long way since his days busking on Broadway and continues to climb the cosmic ranks with admirable humility, much to the delight of his ever growing diehard fanbase.
