“Weird Al” Yankovic has announced his extensive Bigger & WeirderTour, set to run for four months in the summer of 2025. The lengthy outing promises a return to the parody oddball’s “full-production multimedia comedy rock show” following a pair of recent world tours geared toward intimate settings and, unusually, his own original music. The Bigger & Weirder Tour, Yankovic’s first full-“Weird” shows in six years, will feature a “giant video wall, multiple costume changes, and an amazing eight-piece ensemble featuring Al’s original band” [ticketing information].
“This is kind of a ‘best of both worlds’ tour,” Yankovic explained of the tour in a statement. “We’ll be doing all the big crowd-pleasing parodies as well as some deep cuts for the hardcore fans – but with twice as many players on stage, everything is going to sound twice as good!”
The tour will be supported by special guest Puddles Pity Party, the 7-foot-tall sad clown whose golden voice has made him an unlikely sensation on the touring circuit. Bigger & Weirder is set to kick off in June with a week of shows at Las Vegas, NV’s The Venetian before hitting the road for gigs at major theaters, amphitheaters, and arenas across the continent including Morrison, CO’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre (6/24), Toronto, ON’s Budweiser Stage (7/9), New York, NY’s Madison Square Garden (7/12), Bethel, NY’s Bethel Woods Center for the Arts (7/13), Philadelphia, PA’s TD Pavilion at the Mann (7/19), Huntsville, AL’s Orion Amphitheatre (7/27), New Orleans, LA’s Saenger Theatre (7/29), Bonner, MT’s Kettlehouse Amphitheatre (8/10), Palmer, AK’s Alaska State Fair (8/17), Mountain View, CA’s Shoreline Amphitheatre (8/22), and Inglewood, CA’s Kia Forum (8/30). The tour will finally come to a close with a September 20th performance at Nashville, TN’s Ascend Amphitheater.
“Weird Al” Yankovic is the highest-selling comedy recording artist in history. His last album, Mandatory Fun, is the only comedy album in history to debut at #1 on the Billboard Top 200. Also an accomplished actor, writer, director, and producer, Yankovic was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2018 as well as an Emmy Award for the 2022 film WEIRD: The Al Yankovic Story, which starred Daniel Radcliffe.
