Yonder Mountain String Band shared a cover of “Jolene.” The Dolly Parton classic arrived via a quarantine-style video from YMSB.
“Jolene” appears on Dolly Parton’s 1973 album of the same name. YMSB debuted the tune in Summer 2014, as per Phantasy Tour, shortly after Jeff Austin left the band and fiddler Allie Kral joined along with former mandolinist Jake Jolliff. Yonder performed “Jolene” at Northwest String Summit that same year.
