Worm, Baby, Worm

Smell that brisk fall air coming down from the mountains? It’s nearly fall, which marks the return of the Worm. Now in its 18th year, the Wormtown Music Festival hosts a weekend of music on the wooded grounds of Camp Kee-Wanee on the Green River. There’s plenty to do — the fest has an admirably lengthy list of activities for families in particular — but of course the main attraction is the music. This year’s headliners include Keller Williams, Max Creek, Zach Deputy, Pink Talking Fish, The Commander Cody Band, The Alchemystics, Outer Stylie, Bella’s Bartok, and tons more — including legendary New Orleans bassist George Porter Jr., and the awesome Rev Tor playing The Last Waltz live.

18th Annual Wormtown Music Fest: Friday 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Saturday 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Sunday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. $150 weekend pass; $30 early Thursday entry; $80 day pass Friday or Saturday; $40 day pass Sunday. Camp Kee-Wanee, 1 Health Camp Road, Greenfield. (508) 753-8882, wormtown.com.
