Disc Jam Music Festival has announced the initial lineup for the 7th annual festival, held amid the Berkshire Mountains in Stephentown, NY, just minutes from the MA border. A remarkable weekend of more than just music is in store, featuring more than 60 bands from June 8th to the 11th, 2017. Headlining musical acts include Break Science Live Band, Dopapod, Turkuaz, The Motet, Manic Focus, TAUK, Kung Fu, Pink Talking Fish, Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, Aqueous, Gubbulidis (Twiddle side project), Ghost-Note (Snarky Puppy side project), Electric Beethoven, Consider the Source, Honeycomb, Break Science Live Band and more than 60 bands performing on four stages over four days of camping at the picturesque Gardner’s Farm.

Back home for the third consecutive year at Gardner’s Farm, promoter Tony Scavone says of the cornucopia of music in store at this year’s Disc Jam, “We’ve put together a ‘who’s who’ of Northeast musical talent without straying from our funk/jam roots, while keeping with the times to include the electro-fusion craze that has taken hold of new music being created by today’s fastest rising acts.” Scavone announced the lineup for Disc Jam at Electric Haze in Worcester, MA on February 19th. As he explained, “We decided to host an event to announce the lineup for our most devout fans because we wanted to include the energy and good vibes that come along with the live show experience.”

As the name Disc Jam would imply, this four-day/night event features the rapidly-growing sport of disc golf with the festival grounds home to a 27-hole disc golf course on site. Disc golf tournaments for men and women with prizes from Innova and Pure Flight Disc Golf will be held throughout the weekend. The annual tournament is a must for disc golf enthusiasts while also encouraging casual and first-timer players to try their hand on the course all weekend long, with no additional cost to play – the festival even provides discs for those who wish to participate in the festival’s namesake activity. VIP packages include hotel and condo-style rooms at the beautiful Jiminy Peak Ski resort just 5 minutes from the venue. Festival merchandise packages for VIP include an official poster, pin and t-shirt as well as wireless headphones that transmit soundboard feeds of the main stage performances for a truly unique listening experience.

A variety of activities and workshops annually draw a great deal of attention at Disc Jam, with flow arts workshops as well as daily yoga sessions, interactive art amidst the festival grounds, as well as craft and art vending sponsored by PhanArt help Disc Jam create a unique and memorable experience for both new and returning fans.

Twin main stages ensure nonstop music well into the night along with the massive tent stage and woods stage featuring live acts and DJs ensuring late night crowds have options ranging from bass heavy producers to bluegrass pickin’ jam sessions.
