The North Mississippi Allstars hit Boulder last night, continuing the Fox Theatre’s epic 25th anniversary month with their soulful and soaring mix of blues and rock. The band was in proper form for the evening, wowing the crowd and encouraging them to get down as they mediated between powerful rock anthems and more soulful, bluesy numbers.
