An international act has pulled out of Melbourne’s 2018 Sugar Mountain festival, but it’s not all bad news, as local hip hop heavyweights A.B. Original have stepped in to join the lineup.
London muso J Hus — who was the first act to be confirmed for Sugar Mountain 2018 — has pulled the plug on his scheduled appearance at the festival in January, saying in a statement:
“I’m truly disappointed that I won’t be able to appear at Sugar Mountain due to circumstances out of my control. Big thanks to all my Australian fans for their love and support… will be working hard to reschedule dates as soon as possible.”
With seven weeks to go until Sugar Mountain 2018, the addition of A.B. Original’s Briggs and Trials is one of many festival slots the duo have picked up since releasing their debut album Reclaim Australia last year.
Sugar Mountain will take place on Saturday, 20th January at the Victorian College Of The Arts. Peep the full lineup alongside ticket details, below.
