Ecca Vandal has delivered a daring mashup of Rihanna, Dizzee Rascal and Kelis for triple j‘s Like A Version covers segment.
The Melbourne artist paired Rihanna’s bold and powerful lyrics from ‘Bitch Better Have My Money’ with the iconic bassline of Dizzee Rascal’s ‘Dance Wiv Me’. And, to top it all off, she threw in a tiny taste of Kelis’ ‘Milkshake’ for good measure.
While in the triple j studios, she also performed a smooth and funky rendition of her track ‘Your Orbit’, which featured a live verse from Sampa The Great.
Ecca Vandal released her self-titled debut album in October 2017, and is about to embark on a massive European tour.
