The Amity Affliction are officially back, after returning with a premiere of new single ‘Ivy (Doomsday)’ on triple j this afternoon.
On top of the new track, vocalist Ahren Stringer also announced to Lewis Hobba this afternoon that the band’s new album is called Misery.
He also explained what’s been going on with the band’s cryptic social media posts, including that hectic trailer for a project called ‘Misery.’ The trailer is for a two-part music video for ‘Ivy (Doomsday)’ and the band’s yet-to-be-announced second single.
The band’s last album, This Could Be Heartbreak, was released back in 2016.
Watch the clip for ‘Ivy (Doomsday)’ below. Misery will be out Friday, 24th August.
