John Kadlecik, formerly of Furthur with Bob Weir, Phil Lesh and Joe Russo on guitar and vocals, and original singer and lead guitar player for Dark Star Orchestra announces a series of dates across the country.
The dates include solo appearances, and in the ensemble Fellowship of the Wing with Jay Lane (Primus, Ratdog, Furthur, the Wolf Brothers), Reed Mathis (Tea Leaf Green, Electric Beethoven, Jacob Fred’s Jazz Odysset) and Todd Stoops (Kung Fu, Raq, the John Kadlecik Band.) That band has only done a handful of shows including last year’s Gem and Jam event in Arizona.
Also on tap are a few dates in Chicago as Golden Gate Wingmen. That band is Kadlecik, Lane, Mathis and Jeff Chimenti on keys (GD50, Furthur, Ratdog, and Dead and Company).
Somehow in between all of these tour dates Kadlecik has found the time to record a new album that is slated for release toward the end of 2018. The album is completed and mixdown is finished, and mastering is upcoming on the upcoming release.
The annual run of shows in Washington DC around Thanksgiving this year will be John Kadlecik & Pals and will feature Jay Lane, Robin Sylvester (Ratdog), Benjie Porecki, Jessica Lake, & Mary Lankford!
And once again the Wednesday show will benefit the DC Central Kitchen!
