English singer-songwriter Lily Allen has announced her return to Australia as part of a 2019 headline tour behind latest album No Shame.
Allen is scheduled to perform in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth in February, in what will be her first Australian shows in four years. Catch all the tour dates and ticket details, below.
Speaking with Music Feeds earlier this year, Allen said she was “pretty sure” that some plans were “afoot for coming over and touring” down under.
No Shame, which is Allen’s fourth studio album, is the follow-up to 2014’s Sheezus, and features songs like ‘Trigger Bang’, ‘No Choice’ and ‘Waste’.
“There’s no shame in anything I’m saying,” Allen says of the album.
“When I started writing the record I was in a sad, dark place, and this record could almost be starting at midnight, and getting through to the end of the day. It’s been cathartic for me. There’s no two ways about it. It starts in a dark place, for a reason, then ends up in a more optimistic place, for a reason.”
