The second annual Mempho Music Festival will take place at Shelby Farms Park in Memphis October 6 and 7. Organizers of the event recently announced this year’s late night sets.

Multi-instrumentalist Karl Denson, who was already slated to perform with fellow members of The Rolling Stones’ touring band for a Stones Throw set, is aboard for both late night sets. On Saturday, October 6 Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe will revive their Allman Brothers Band tribute with a Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe Presents Eat A Bunch Of Peaches performance.

Then, on Sunday, October 7 Karl D. will team with an impressive array of musicians for a Mempho Allstars set. Mempho Allstars ’18 features Karl Denson, sacred steel specialist Robert Randolph, guitarist/vocalist Orianthi, keyboardist Cory Henry, drummer Nate Smith, bassist MonoNeon, pianist Chuck Leavell, guitarist Isaiah Sharkey, turntablist DJ Logic, guitarist Brandon “Taz” Niederauer and more.

Both Denson and Leavell will participate in the Stones Throw set with Bernard Fowler, Darryl Jones, Tim Ries and Lisa Fischer, while Niederauer is aboard as the event’s Artist-At-Large. Beck, Post Malone, Phoenix, Mac DeMarco, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic and The Bar-Kays are just a few of the other Mempho ’18 acts. Tickets are on sale now via the festival’s website.
