New York City-based record label Mom + Pop will celebrate its 10th anniversary on October 22 with a concert at Brooklyn Steel featuring Courtney Barnett and others on the label. A compilation box set commemorating recordings from the last decade, 10 Years Of Mom + Pop, will be issued on November 23.
Along with Barnett, the Brooklyn Steel concert will also feature Tom Morello, Alice Merton, Sleigh Bells, Sunflower Bean, Neon Indian and others. Tickets to the concert are available here. After the 10th anniversary concert, Mom + Pop and Future Classic will co-host the FUTURE POP after-party at Good Room in Brooklyn featuring a rare DJ set by Flume.
Mom + Pop was founded by Michael Goldstone who currently runs the independent label with co-president Thaddeus Rudd. 10 Years Of Mom + Pop features covers, rarities and greatest hits from the likes of Andrew Bird, Lucius, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, all of the above-mentioned performers and more.
