Next Friday, September 21 Nonesuch Records will release Mountain Man‘s Magic Ship. The trio’s long-awaited sophomore album can be streamed a week early through NPR Music’s First Listen series.
Molly Sarlé, Alexandra Sauser-Monnig and Sylvan Esso’s Amelia Meath formed Mountain Man in 2009. The vocal trio released their debut album Made The Harbor one year later and then began a hiatus in 2011. Molly, Alexandra and Amelia revived the project for a set at last year’s Eaux Claires festival in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
