Each Saturday, CBS This Morning presents a series of musical performances under the Saturday Sessions banner. This morning’s installment featured Neko Case who stopped by the show’s Manhattan studio to perform a trio of songs from her most recent studio album Hell-On.
Case’s latest, her first since 2013, was self-produced and features guests appearances from Beth Ditto, Mark Lanegan, k.d. Lang, AC Newman, Eric Bachmann, Kelly Hogan, Doug Gillard, Laura Veirs and Joey Burns. The 12-song album was recorded in Stockholm, Sweden with Bjorn Yttling of (Peter Bjorn & John) co-producing six tracks. Case and her touring band delivered takes on “Winnie,” “Lion Of Albion” and “Halls Of Sarah” for the morning magazine show.
